Got this via email this morning...

The sometimes sharp and often idealistically fatuous Mike Whitney, whom I generally enjoy, beating a long-dead horse by asking the musical question "What right does Bush have to kill Saddam?" as if it had anything to do with the reality he loves to bitch-slap.

Hanging Saddam

By Mike Whitney

The execution of Saddam Hussein is another grim chapter in the catalogue of war crimes perpetrated against the Iraqi people. It is a gratuitous act of barbarism devoid of justice.

What right does Bush have to kill Saddam? What right does the author of Abu Ghraib, Falluja, Haditha and countless other atrocities have to pass judgment…

**********************

What RIGHT does Bush have to do any of this stuff?

Let's grow up.

None, of course.

Not the threats, not the invasion, not the pompous redneck shit-kicking pretense of having ANY moral authority above and beyond what his daddy and his daddy's friends bought him with the money they had that the Grampa's (on both sides -- Prescott Bush, Herbert Walker) made financing the Nazi's all the way into the War and for 10 months thereafter.

Why did the capture and hanging have to take place?

Well, why did Bush #41 set up Saddam Hussein, having April Glaspie tell him we wouldn't interfere if he went after Kuwait for using the slant-drilling equipment to steal Iraq's oil -- the same equipment sold to them by Santa Fe Oil Company – check out THEIR ownership for a profile of Bush 41’s Henchpersons?

Why did Bush 41 convince the moronic Saudis that Saddam Hussein was planning an invasion?

First of all to get ourselves a military base in the Middle East.

But most of all, to end the story of the 5 Billion Dollars in kickbacks George Herbert Walker Bush (Prez # 41) got from Saddam Hussein and Colonel Noriega when he was VP (remember that $5 Billion that somehow disappeared from Banco Lavoro -- BCCI, the bank that passed along payoffs to leaders in the west? (BCCI = Bank of Crooks and Criminals) The missing $5 billion that was blamed on a 28-year old clerk?

Remember how Colonel Noriega threatened to show documents indicting Prez Bush the First? And how, according to several people, the federal marshals had a little talk with him the night before the trial telling him they were concerned that many powerful people hang themselves in their cells the night before a trial, to avoid the humiliation -- get the message, Pal?

And how those documents never surfaced and Noriega stayed alive?

And how Osama Ben Ladn started planning to take out the World Trade Center in the early 90's when he found out the USA had profaned the sacred soil of Araby (Mecca, Medina) with a military base. (That was when he returned home to ask for $$$ to let him go north and kill Saddam Hussein, whom he considered a disgrace to Islam. Kill Saddam Hussein. Great -- and diseased -- minds all think alike).

Read American Dynasty by Kevin Phillips, (and his later work, continuing the same thought-line of attempts to take over America, American Theocracy) if you want to know how the crime family of the Walkers and the Bushes have systematically tried to destroy the constitution of the USA and do what they were hoping Hitler could do.

On the other hand, we should be happy about it because the whole dynasty is circling the toilet bowl (clockwise north of the equator, and the same way south of the line, although people believe it goes counter-clockwise south of the equator -- neither of which are the result of the Coriolis Effect)

Because the hubris?

The key to their downfall?

Letting the vicious idiot bastard schmuck child George Wanker Bush get to be president and bring the whole thing crashing down through stupidity, cupidity, passive aggression, homoerotic bonding, and surrounding himself -- letting himself be run by abunch of too-clever-by-half former Trotskyites who call themselves neo-cons (and of course the TRADITIONAL CONS -- the good old fashioned greedy plunderers like Dick Cheney and his lot of vermin).

Just remember kids -- when a gigantic thoroughly corrupt structure (like a dynasty a dinosaur a church a political organization) dies -- all sorts of vermin and parasites crawl off, looking for a new home, for warm blood.

These will be the people NOW denouncing the pack of thugs they previously ran with (From Hillary to McCain.)

They killed Saddam Hussein for the same reason any thief-murderer kills his victims -- to leave no witnesses.

Always forgetting, as their mentor Richard Nixon did, that everyone was watching all along.

Just make sure you have a good endless supply of Raid and Garlic (tell me, you really think a CROSS will stop a vampire? Just who do you think the blood drinkers are?) -- because the heat-seekers are on the move already.

I'm Back -- I spent the month of December having those #$%&# at EARTHLINK lie to me about the cause of my loss of internet/email access and then about the new modem they were sending OVERNIGHT EXPRESS (first told that on the14th of December) and then again when they admitted they hadn't even sent it yet (December 19th) and still haven't received even after I called COMCAST (December 19th) and they set me up one day later (now using Comcast -- email and other addresses still in effect but to change presently).

EARTHLINK USED to give good service and tech support -- now they have what seems to be a bunch of well-meaning high school students in Bangalore reading from a manual for the first time. In other words, tech support is clueless and useless and damn near impossible to get on the phone. (Hmm, is that like "The food is terrible and the portions are too small?")

But, in the worlds of Eleanor Roosevelt, "Nonetheless..."

Barbara Bush fathered by Alistair Crowley? That's the rumor.

Great webiste: Rumor Mill News

Date: Tuesday, 27 June 2006, 1:34 p.m.

Barbara Bush's mother was a follower of Alistair Crowley and travelled to Europe to spend some time with him there. Returning to the U.S., she had Barbara nine months later. Alistair required any women around him to have sex with him, so there is a
possibility that he is Barbara's father. In fact, many have noted the striking resemblence between Barbara and Crowley.

Well it might explain why Richard Nixon said that after all his years in politics, the person who scared him most was Barbara Bush. Not the emissaries from Hell he invoked, not the rabid dobermans he loosed on an unsuspecting public: Haldemann, G. Gordon Liddy, Erlichmann, et al.

Nope, it was Barbara Bush -- the Silver Fox -- the person whose approval, George W. Bush would burn down the world to get.

It's not as if the "official news" coming out of the White House has any more validity, but Rumor Mill News is a hell of a lot more fun. Check them out:

The most egregious political lie

Since WWII and before, one of the primary talents demanded of anyone who wanted to be president of the United States has been the ability to commit mass and serial murder under the aegis of "National Defense."

This country has had something like 200 shooting wars since 1776 -- and how many were for actual defense? And how many were seeking benefits?

That's what presidents do -- kill and lie about the reasons why.

The most dangerous hideous lie -- the one that makes it damn near impossible to improve or solve ANYTHING until it's addressed -- is the fiction we are supposed to embrace.

THE LIE --
That George W Bush is the man in charge.
That he is the one who makes the decisions.
That he makes policy.

The current "Oh save us, Mighty Mouse" fantasy -- The Projected Earnings Report from the Carlyle Group (uhh, the Iraq Study Group Report) is being looked at as if it contradicts Monkey Boy's policies in Iraq, although none of them are willing to actually say that.

Of course, looking at the puffy drunk trying to smile, it certainly is a public humiliation, but what it is/was is the result of a power struggle between Dick Cheney and his masters and George Bush 41 and his masters as to whose hand goes up the hole of the sock puppet who calls himself "The Decider."

For this reason, they focus on cosmetic tactics, although they dare to go so far as to mention as step so obvious only someone who DIDN'T want the war to end would decline to pursue it -- and that's regional conferences including Iran and Syria.

For this band of miscreants, recommending that important step is safe, and something like "All our problems can be resolved if only Bush 43 who learn to levitate, or at least finance anti-gravity research.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Or as was said by a man who knew the ins and outs -- and wasn't afraid to talk about them:

Huey P. Long:

"The only difference I ever found between the Democratic leadership and the Republican leadership is that one of them is skinning you from the ankle up and the other, from the neck down."

****************

Two other wise men have offered words of wisdom that are particularly relevant these days and which may be ignored at our peril:

Lord Buckley:

"If you get to it and you can NOT do it, there you jolly well are, aren't you?"

****************

Professor Irwin Corey:

"If we don't change direction soon, we'll end up where we're going."

************

As to the report itself -- one more visionary summed up things such as that quite well:

Lenny Bruce

"There's a great big difference between a great big piece of art with a little shit in the middle
and a great big piece of shit with a little art in the middle."

**************

--It is not irrelevant that the careers of all three men involved standing on stages and making people laugh through the shock of reality-recognition.

Blood diamonds? Conflict-free diamonds? Which conflict? Whose blood?

The push against "blood diamonds," so-called, sounds like a wonderful move toward more ethical, humanitarian international standards -- and in many ways, it is -- but it also ignores (and implicity, then, condones) the crimes committed in any country where the warring forces have decided to cease hostilities and JOINTLY savage the population for wealth.

Blood and diamonds have always been inextricably intertwined:

"Diamond mining began in Africa in 1867 with the discovery of a "pretty pebble" along the banks of the Orange River in South Africa... Discovery of the diamond field resulted in the 1880 Boer War, a conflict between English settlers and the descendents of Dutch settlers (called Boers), all of whom had laid claim to the diamond fields."

The history of the monopolistic England-based DeBeers Group is awash with blood and always has been -- including the fact that the people actually named De Beers were Afrikaaners.

Given the history of De Beers -- enslavement, summary execution (for any miner trying to take one diamond away) humiliation (miners always had to strip naked at the end of each shift for cavity search), the outcry and international prohibitions against "Blood Diamonds" amounts to little more than De Beers protecting their market dominance against people using more or less the same tactics THEY used to get where they are.

He's as "in command" as a Spanish King -- Philip V

From Tim Grieve

"George W. Bush says he doesn't take policy advice from his father --"I am the commander in chief," he told Brit Hume over the weekend -- and he seems to view all advice about Iraq with a sort of dismissive lack of discrimination. Bush told Hume that he's getting "a lot of advice documents," and that it's "very hard for me to, you know, prejudice one report over another."

So what does speak to the president?

*******************

Philip V ("less than a man") was a semi-drooling idiot who read every report to cross his desk -- the problem? He didn't seem quite able to distinguish the difference in importance between a report on the costs of palace garbage removal and a declaration of war.

*********************

"Laura and I are sustained by the prayers of millions of people," Bush told Hume. "Now that's hard for some to -- I guess chew on."

Hume asked Bush if he "senses" the power of prayers sent his way.

"Absolutely," Bush said. "I feel it ... Because the load is not heavy, I guess is the best way to describe it.

**********************

It's quite a feat for a president to manage to achieve a "don't sweat the big stuff" posture -- "death, destruction, reality -- f-f-f-fuck all that."

He's Mommy's little boy all right -- she showed him the way -- "Why should I trouble my beautiful mind with those things?"

And imagine -- it took Nixon 100 mg of valium a day to achieve relatively complete escape from reality. We've come a long way.
