Bill Would Punish Frivolous-Lawsuit Filers

October 27,2005 | WASHINGTON -- Lawyers could lose their licenses for a year for repeatedly filing frivolous lawsuits under a bill headed for passage in the House as part of the Republicans' drive to crack down on what they consider costly abuses of the legal system.
Funny how every goddamn thing they propose in Congress (and by THEY, I mean the congressmen and women) either costs the middle- and lower-economic strata more, decreases their rights, increases the profits of the people who give them what are laughingly called "Campaign contributions," or gets people not in their families killed.
