What is this crap about Democrats turning on Joe Lieberman because he's moderate, rational, and pro-war?

Democrats are turning against Joe Lieberman because he's an ass-licking toady to George W Bush and an embarrassment to anyone who ever thought their senator should stand up with a LITTLE BIT of dignity.

You don't have to know his policies to see he's a snivelling, whining, flunky who is totally morally compromised and represents nothing but being a jock-sniffer to the big boys with the hammer.

I'm just still amazed (as I was then) that the Democrats would put him up as a candidate for V.P., or that his constituents have tolerated him this long.
