The children all are crying.

While boys play war

And girls play whore

And all the lambs are dying


Well, maybe not -- since today it might be:

"While boys and girls

Play war and whore..."


or:

"While boys play whore

and girls play war..."


The part that DOESN'T change is that dismal last line.
