A caller on Washington Journal(CSPAN) this morning made it clear that the Koran does NOT condone such things as suicide bombings.
In fact, I realized that of the BIG THREE Western religions neither Islam nor Judaism (in which it is a sin against G-D and the life that has been given to you to give it up voluntarily for any reason) condone it.
Since a case can certainly be made that suicide bombings are a political act intended help bring liberation to others, of the three, only Christianity could be considered to give suicide bombings a nod with the basic tenet (as exemplified by the Dogma that Jesus died for my sins) --
"Better love hath no man than who gives up his life for another."
Of course, Christian dogma still holds that you can't just take your own life because you're in a world of fatal agony -- that would be selfish.
