Hmmmm..

Last week, on the Bill Maher show, someone remarked with a smile that the Homeland Security Yellow and Orange alerts seem to have disappeared since the last election.

(The implication was that the administration had just been doing it to scare, i.e., to manipulate, cause to fall in line, shut up opponents, eliminate embarrassing questions)

This week, they raised the Danger level to Yellow.
